- 1) I don’t want to spend money on the game until it has more content – This one is very easy to address as Open Beta launch will represent the FINAL data wipe, therefore players will be starting over one last time. This also means that all of their MC, if they have purchased any, or the entirety of the Founders rewards will be reimbursed completely: therefore you get to choose when the time is right to spend your MC currency.

Was never told in the mechwarrior client, you shouldn't require someone to look through forums to know something like this. I'll open a support ticket until i get the MC reset.

I wish you the best of luck. But it was stated through the client. Anytime you are installing a patch in the upper right hand corner there is a button called patch notes. It will open you straight to the notes and in them at the time of the change it stated the above quote.

It was emailed to you near the end of October, can't really get more personal than that:
"Firstly: Open Beta is on schedule and will be beginning quite soon (12 noon PDT, Monday!) This means we’re very close to getting the final phases of the main beta features coming in. On that as well, Open Beta is our final reset. Once it happens, we will not be resetting everything again. We will be resetting C-Bills, MC, XP, GXP, Mechs, and inventory. The only thing you’ll keep is your friends list. However, if you have a Founders pack, everything will be added from that pack. Also anything you’ve purchased (with MC) will be added back."

Yes, being a beta tester should require you to look through forums once in a while. How else can you give feedback and know what's going on with the development?
Besides, a link to the open beta announcent including the final wipe info was mailed to you.

The game was sold and made available for play with the founders package. I have opened a support ticket to get my account wiped and reset.

I highly doubt you're going to get anything back as the error was on your end, not on theirs.

The founders package was you paying to get early access as a beta tester. Again I wish you luck with the ticket, but I don't think they should give you what you want in this case.

Well then maybe you should have paid attention to what you were doing. This is what, two months ago? It's like asking for a Police Officer to not give you a ticket for running a light because you were busy talking on the phone.

The game is free 2 play, so it was never sold to you. The access to closed beta along with MC points and a founders mech was sold to you.

only the laziest people did that. Sorry, im all for refunds etc, but no, you should not get a special case reset...either a full refund with your account deleted, or nothing.

Liked it because of your signature: "If you want peace prepare for war!!" Love the song.
you do realize that it wasn't from a song, but from "Epitoma Rei Militaris," by Vegetius. right?.
"Igitur qui desiderat pacem, praeparet bellum."
or
"Si vis pacem, para bellum."
edit: i noticed his signature actually gives where the quote is from, that gives you even less of an excuse.
edit 2: op is an ***** "i shouldn't have to check the forums to know this" yes you should check the forum, where patch notes, are if you don't you have only your own stupidity to blame, now qq more.
